Agreement to these terms
metawe (“metawe,” “we,” “us”) provides a platform for building and hosting micro-sites, link-in-bio pages, menus, and similar pages, together with related features (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you’re authorized to accept these Terms for it, and “you” includes that organization.
The Service
metawe lets you build pages, upload files, generate QR codes, view analytics, and publish pages at a metawe address. Features available to you depend on your plan. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
Some features are provided through third parties (for example, payment processing, embeds, and analytics you choose to add). Your use of those is also subject to the relevant third party’s terms.
Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. The Service is not intended for children.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to create, host, or distribute content, or to act, in any way that:
- is unlawful, infringes someone else’s intellectual property or other rights, or violates any applicable law or regulation;
- is deceptive, fraudulent, or impersonates a person or organization, including phishing or deceptive payment collection;
- contains malware, or attempts to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
- harasses, threatens, defames, or promotes violence or hate against others;
- is sexually exploitative of minors, or is otherwise seriously harmful or abusive;
- sends spam or bulk unsolicited messages, or scrapes the Service without permission; or
- abuses our infrastructure, including using hosting or file storage in a way that’s not connected to a genuine metawe page.
We may investigate suspected violations and take action, including removing content or suspending accounts. We aren’t obligated to monitor content, but we may review it.
Your content and responsibility
You own your content. Everything you create, upload, or publish through the Service (“Your Content”) remains yours. To operate the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, resize images), and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service and serve your pages to visitors. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained in backups for a limited time or as required by law.
You’re solely responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to use it. We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or the law. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact us and we’ll respond appropriately.
Plans, billing and payments
metawe offers a Free plan and paid plans (Pro and Enterprise). Prices are shown on our pricing page and may be presented in US dollars (USD) or Thai baht (THB). Payments are processed by our payment providers (currently Stripe, including PromptPay for baht payments); we don’t store your full card details.
Subscriptions and renewals
- Card subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You authorize us to charge your payment method for each renewal.
- PromptPay payments buy a fixed plan window and do not renew automatically; you pay again to extend.
- You can cancel any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep paid features until then.
Taxes, changes and refunds
- Prices exclude taxes unless stated; you’re responsible for any applicable taxes.
- We may change prices or plan features; changes apply from your next billing period, and we’ll give reasonable notice of material changes.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and we don’t provide refunds or credits for partial periods, downgrades, or unused time.
Downgrades and non-payment
If your paid plan ends or a payment fails, your account moves to the Free plan. We don’t delete your published pages just because you stopped paying, but paid features pause and plan limits apply going forward — for example, you may be unable to create new sites or cards, or add files, until you’re within Free-plan limits or upgrade again.
Third-party services
The Service integrates with third parties — for example, payment processing, email delivery, maps and embeds, and analytics or marketing pixels (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) that you choose to add to your pages. We don’t control those services and aren’t responsible for them. When you enable an integration, you’re responsible for complying with its terms and for any consent or disclosures required from your visitors.
Our intellectual property
The Service itself — including our software, design, templates, and the metawe name and logo — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms don’t grant you any right to our branding, and you may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly allowed. We welcome feedback and may use it without obligation to you.
Service availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, and we may offer beta or experimental features “as is,” which we can change or withdraw at any time.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account or remove content if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service, other users, or third parties. Where practical and lawful, we’ll give notice.
On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive — including content ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be secure or uninterrupted, or that any content will be preserved without loss.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, metawe and its suppliers won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless metawe from claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party rights.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of Thailand will have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory local law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll take reasonable steps to notify you, such as posting the updated Terms here with a new “last updated” date or notifying you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
